Job Title: Piano Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated piano instructor to teach kindergarten-aged students. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching piano to young children, with an understanding of early childhood learning principles.

About the Role:

  • To deliver engaging and age-appropriate private piano lessons that focus on foundational skills and foster a love for music.
  • Tailor lessons to suit each child's interests, abilities, and learning pace.
  • Introduce and build musical concepts, including note reading, rhythm, and technique.
  • Communicate progress, feedback, achievements, and areas for growth with parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching private piano lessons to kindergarten-aged students.
  • Developing lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching piano to young children.
  • A degree in Music, Education, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • AMEB accreditation or similar is a plus.
  • Ability to teach foundational piano skills in a fun and patient manner.
