**You'll be responsible for**:

- Delivering optimal assessment outcomes for repair costs or total loss situations, including various types of file reviews.
- Adhering to the motor assessing process, including guidelines, parts policy, severity coding, and repairer standards.
- Utilizing repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts usage, and scorecards to enhance repairer performance.
- Improving customer service for both Selected and non-Selected repairers, ensuring a high-quality experience.
- Providing prompt resolution for customer complaints, encompassing issues related to repair warranty and service, and strive to meet or surpass productivity goals, with a focus on completing total loss reports within 24 hours when possible.

**About you**:

- Required trade qualification and significant experience post-apprenticeship as a panel beater, spray painter, or motor mechanic, or significant experience as a motor insurance assessor.
- Experience in repair shop management/estimating and motor vehicle assessing practices, as well as providing damaged vehicle quotations.
- Good understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
- Skilled in planning and prioritizing effectively, managing tasks, and handling competing resources and demands.
- Competence in navigating complex situations, providing pragmatic commercial solutions, and demonstrating technical proficiency with relevant systems and tools, alongside excellent communication skills.
