Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Assessor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with technical expertise in motor vehicle repair and excellent customer service skills.

The Motor Vehicle Assessor will be responsible for assessing motor vehicle damage, determining fair repair costs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess motor vehicle claims and determine fair repair costs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Complete vehicle quality inspections and other tasks associated with motor vehicle assessing.
  • Problem solve issues between IAG and customers and repairers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

  • A relevant Australian motor vehicle trade qualification (minimum Cert 3 in Panel Beating or Spray Painting or Mechanic).
  • 5 years experience in the field of their trade.
  • Strong technical experience in the motor vehicle repair industry.
  • A full Australian driver's license.
  • Excellent customer focus, negotiation and communication skills.
