Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Motor Assessor to join our team. As a Motor Assessor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that commercial motor vehicle repairs are conducted in an appropriate manner and that the repair costs are fair and reasonable.

The role involves assessing motor vehicles to ensure that repairs meet industry standards, working with customers to negotiate settlements for referred claims, and providing exceptional customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification/s in Motor Repair Trades (spray painting, mechanic or panel beating), a valid Driver's Licence, and an understanding of various types of vehicles including passenger vehicles, caravan, motorcycle, pleasure craft, heavy machinery, agricultural farm machinery, farm vehicles and commercially modified vehicles such as ambulances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess motor vehicles to determine the extent of damage and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Negotiate settlements with customers for referred claims.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification/s in Motor Repair Trades (spray painting, mechanic or panel beating).
