Maxima are chasing several experienced Treatment Plant Operators for casual assignments with their client, a Local Council, based in Loganholme.

Working Monday - Sunday on a roster with a casual hourly pay of $36.62 + super you will operate the wastewater treatment plants and ensure compliance with the environmental authority conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor wastewater treatment plant processes and ensure operational performance targets are achieved
- Record, interpret and analyse treatment plant performance data including laboratory results and SCADA trends
- Troubleshoot treatment plant operational issues and identify appropriate corrective actions
- Monitor treatment assets and ensure that maintenance issues are raised to be addressed in a timely manner
- Collect wastewater samples and carry out simple bench top laboratory tests as needed

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification (Minimum Certificate 3 Water Industry Operations - Wastewater Stream) - desirable
- Current C class driver's license
- Have had Hep A, Hep B ad Tetanus vaccinations
- A general understanding of and experience in using small items of plant such as mowers and other tools
- Willing to work every 3rd weekend on a rotating roster
