We are looking for a positive, energetic individual to join our wonderful small team at our boutique pet hotel in Duffys Forest on the Northern Beaches in Sydney.

**About the role**:
This is an exciting & rare opportunity to be a part of a small, positive, and long-standing team at our industry-leading boutique pet hotel in the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
- Nine-day fortnight - Wednesday to Saturday week 1, and Monday to Friday week 2
- Competitive Pay Package (including an Annual Bonus Scheme), which is above industry standard

- Be able to manage the background and direct/guide/train a small team of Animal Attendants to ensure high standards of cleaning and presentation are maintained at all times
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in a timely manner, such as (but not limited to) cleaning rooms and enclosures
- Perform animal care tasks such as (but not limited to) administering medication, feeding, assessing animals, and exercising
- Interact with small dogs and cats
- Keep thorough records of the animals in care
- Provide enrichment through play and scheduled activities

**What the role requires**:

- Be able to manage the background and direct/guide/train other Animal Attendants
- Have a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Have exceptional customer service skills
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Have your own car and start at 7.15 am and end at 4:00 pm
- Be highly competent, reliable, flexible, and motivated
- Be confident in decision-making and working within time frames
- Fluent English skills
- The role reports to the Human Resources & Operational Managers

**We prefer you to**:

- Have previous work experience in the animal industry
- Live within 45 minutes from Duffys Forest Sydney NSW (Duffys Forest is 15 minutes from Monavale)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 38 per week
