**Dental Assistant**

We are looking for a friendly experienced Dental Assistant/s to join our two chair family practice in Blackwood. We are offering casual/ part/ full time position.

**Experience**:
1 year or more of Experience in Dental Assisting

Exact experience is an advantage

Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferable
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges
- Be well presented, reliable and punctual
- High level of infection control and sterilisation standards
- Have excellent time management skills
- Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the practice
- Good communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and works well within a team

**Role responsibilities including but are not limited to**:

- Providing all aspects of chair-side Dental Assisting with some surgical and implant procedures
- Dental instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures & equipment maintenance
- Keeping the Dental surgery cleaned and well-stocked, setting up for all Dental procedures
- Some reception duties - including answering telephone calls, taking inquiries, making bookings and account processing
- Flexibility to cover both assisting and reception - sick and holiday leave as required
