This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity at SkyCity Adelaide, ideal for an experienced professional ready to lead from the front.About the opportunityJoin our Financial Crime team as theFinancial Crime Governance & Reporting Lead, where you will play a vital role in strengthening our compliance framework.
In this position, you will oversee and refine AML governance, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
You will design, implement and optimise AML processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while collaborating with key stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, and Operations.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of AML controls, identifying emerging risks and trends, performing secretariat duties for senior management committees, and managing internal and external reporting.
Additionally, you will lead audit preparations, ensuring thorough documentation and readiness, while fostering a strong compliance culture through training programs and awareness initiatives.A background in policy application, committee and board reporting and managing critical AML artifacts will be vital in meeting SkyCity's financial crime obligations and cultivating a strong compliance culture across the business.About youThe preferred candidate must have:Bachelor's degree or higher qualification with at least 6 years' experience in AML, financial crime, regulatory compliance or related fields with a strong track record in governance and reporting.A deep understanding of AML regulations, industry standards and best practices to drive effective compliance strategies.Exceptional analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills to lead cross functional teams and influence all levels of the organisation.Proficiency in governance and reporting to ensure robust oversight and transparency.Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are a must.It is preferred the successful candidate will have had experience in:Training and mentoring, specifically enhancing organisational understanding of AML regulations.Leading and influencing performance in alignment with FC governance regulations.Policy design when implementing AML processes and frameworksQuality assurance in assessing the effectiveness of controls and driving continuous improvement in compliance quality.Market research to identify external regulatory development and benchmark organisation practices against industry standards.About usAt SkyCity Adelaide, we offer more than just a job - we provide a rewarding and engaging workplace.
