Our solutions include wearable technology, video analytics, and athlete monitoring solutions, and we are passionate about helping sports organizations at all levels to better scout, recruit, teach, and win.WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGYAs a Principal Test Engineer / Team Lead you'll be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our performance and health software and firmware products.
You will manage a small team of test engineers embedded in delivery teams and be responsible for driving both automation and manual testing practices.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead, mentor, and manage a small team of Test Engineers.Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for new and existing features.Coordinate the execution of both automated and manual test efforts cross squad.Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and tools.Collaborate closely with tech leads, product managers, and other stakeholders to build delivery roadmaps that build quality in.Monitor and report on testing progress, defect trends, and overall quality metrics.Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.Hands on, we lead from the front.WHAT YOU'LL NEEDBachelors degree in Computer Science or related fieldPrior experience leading or managing a small team.Solid understanding of agile software development life cycles while supporting a cross squad roadmap.Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot, JUnit, TestNG).
Experience with CI/CD is a must.Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including appropriate experience managing senior stakeholders.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.WHY CATAPULT?
