What You Will Get to Do:

In this senior role, you will lead System Testing, System Integration Testing, and Regression Testing across various projects, ensuring our systems meet all requirements and perform optimally. This position offers a chance to drive impactful projects, mentor and lead junior engineers, and be a part of our collaborative and motivated team

As a Principal, you will take on a key role in planning, executing, and reporting on testing activities, while also managing defects and engaging with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks aligned with product and business goals.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of emerging testing tools and frameworks through targeted proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Guide teams in adopting AI/ML-driven testing, performance engineering, and shift-left practices.
  • Manage test environments, data setup, and release readiness across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
  • Ensure testing practices meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and defect prevention initiatives.
  • Generate test metrics & ROI to utilize them for process and efficiency improvements
  • Coach and mentor junior engineering staff in the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation

What You Will Bring:

We are seeking an experienced Principal QA with solid backgrounds in both manual and automated testing.

With a proven track record of leading complex testing projects, you will also:
  • Have a strong understanding of various Software Development methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid, along with DevOps practices.
  • Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing test automation projects.
  • Be proficient in tools such as JIRA, Xray, TOSCA, Postman, Selenium, Playwright and SQL.
  • Demonstrate advanced communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports for senior stakeholders and drive solutions for projects.
  • Have experience in the superannuation industry or a similar financial sector to minimize the learning curve and quickly contribute to the team.
