**We are looking for a Financial Crime Specialist**

If you are passionate about Risk, this could be the role for you

MyState has adopted the 3 lines of defence model, This is a second line role and reports to the Senior manager Fraud Risk and Financial Crime, who in turn report to the MyState limited CRO.

**In this role you will be responsible for second line oversight for the following**
- Financial crime framework management
- Building organisational awareness around financial crime
- Oversight of ongoing & enhanced customer due diligence
- Oversight of mule account management
- Governance of transaction & internal fraud monitoring
- Line 2 assurance testing

**To be successful, you should have**:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in respect to AML/CTF regulations, financial crime and risk based matters;
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed financial analysis;
- Sound technical understanding of industry codes of practice and legislation including Consumer Credit Code, Privacy Act, EFT, FTRA, AML/CTF legislation and Credit Reporting Privacy principles;
- A strong commitment to on-going professional development;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the compliance and legislative requirements impacting on the financial services industry;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an AML/CTF oversight role;
- Experience in managing, designing and reporting on audit or assurance related activities;
- Experience in the development and management of Regulatory / compliance frameworks.
