We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Category Development Executive to join our passionate and high performing team within the Confectionery business primarily working within the Convenience and Impulse channel. You will have the opportunity to work on much loved brands including KitKat, Allen's, Milkybar, Uncle Toby's, Smarties and many more.

The consistent growth of our brands is largely due to the innovation and expertise of our Sales, Marketing and Commercial Development teams, who ensure our market-leading products have a prime position on shelves across Australia.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
Reporting to the Commercial Development Manager, you will assist the Commercial Development Team to support their internal and external communication with category, shopper and competitive market analysis.

A day in the life will look like:

- You will join a fun and dynamic team where you will provide category, commercial and analytical support to grow customer categories through our iconic and well-loved brands.
- You will assist the Category & Commercial Team to support their internal and external communication with category, shopper and competitive market analysis.
- Contribute to New Business opportunities through supporting with category insights and selling material.
- Work collaboratively with category teams outside of Confectionery to build and maintain a Grocery core range for the convenience channel.
- Lead the range review process for Confectionery & Snacks within the Convenience and Impulse channel.
- Lead and present at sales field cycle meetings and develop field communication for the Convenience and Impulse Channel.

**WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL**
- You will have a strong attention to detail and have a collaborative approach.
- Strong communication, presentation skills and stakeholder management
- You will have experience using data agency software, such as Circana, Nielsen (Scan & Homescan), Global Data or Quantium and advanced excel and powerpoint skills
- Your capacity to turn data into meaningful insights will be fundamental to your success, as well as delivering on time and in full to meet your objectives.
- Prior category experience and/or experience working in the Convenience and Impulse channel is favourable
