Our client
is a global leader in the building and industrial services sector working with commercial, residential, and infrastructure customers across Australia and New Zealand, with a reputation of blending technology, sustainability, and customer service to deliver high-performance solutions. They are looking for a Procurement Category Manager to join their established procurement team in Sydney.

The role
reports to the General Manager of Procurement and will lead the development and execution of procurement strategies across key direct spend categories, driving value through market insights, supplier optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration. Managing end-to-end sourcing projects, and implementing supplier agreements, and taking ownership of supplier performance to ensure delivery against commercial objectives. Acting as a key link between local and global procurement, the role will align strategies, embed best practices, and improve category policies and processes. With a strong focus on commercial outcomes, there will be responsibility for reporting on savings, project milestones, and supplier performance across the portfolio.

We are looking for
a Procurement Category Manager with Directs or Indirects experience who puts the customer at the centre of everything they do, thrives in a fast-changing environment, and has an impressive track record of developing category strategies to deliver value on business and customer outcomes. You'll be a confident communicator who builds strong relationships, can influence at a senior leadership level, operates effectively across diverse teams, and isn't afraid to challenge the norm. You'll bring fresh thinking, and a  problem-solving approach that cuts through complexity to deliver practical outcomes. Most importantly you'll be passionate about driving impact through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
