EIR are looking for an experienced PRODUCTION Machine Operator

WE ARE PARTICUARLY KEEN TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE WORKED WITH PLASTIC PREVIOUSLY

**- Location**: Toowoomba QLD

**- Start Date**: Interviews are happening now

**- Hours**: These are 12 hour shifts done on a fortnightly roster - rotating days and nights

**- Duration**: Ongoing (no really, there is a chance to go perm here if you put the work here)

**- Pay (the important bit)**: $38.00+p/h

What will you be doing?

Working under your team leader you will be involved in all aspects of Plastic Pipe Production. You will be working on and operating large extruder machines, operating Coilers & Stackers and using an overhead crane. You will be using various other hand tools and an electric strapping tool in order to secure the product in specially built pallets. Operating the Forklift and performing quality checks will be a daily part of your VERY varied role

What do we need from you?

Proven experience operating machinery on a busy production line

Previous Production Worker experience

A current Forklift License is MUST

A mechanical mindset and willingness to learn new skills

A high regard for safety is essential

The willingness to work day/night shifts and weekends

The ability to lift weight up to 30kg.

Full and correct PPE (Steel cap boots, Cotton Drill long pants, Cotton Drill long sleeve hi-visibility shirt).

Part of the induction process will be a drug and alcohol test - (you need to pass it)

You will also have an obligation to supply EIR with a current Police Check for this role
