About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our production team, contributing to the creation of innovative snack foods.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced machine operator to join us in our purpose-built facility, equipped with state-of-the-art food processing and packaging technology.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of production machines, troubleshooting and rectifying equipment malfunctions, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

You will work closely with other team members to ensure seamless production runs, consistent with demand, sales, and new product development.

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, able to take ownership of their role, and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform production operations on a range of machines
  • Troubleshoot and rectify production equipment malfunctions
  • Identify and initiate changes to create process and productivity improvements
  • Assist with the review, updating, and implementation of operating procedures
  • Enter data and maintain production records
  • Maintain production runs that are consistent with demand, sales, and new product development
  • Supervise casual staff as needed
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with established quality standards throughout all areas of production
  • Maintain site safety standards and work practices
Requirements
  • Hands-on machine operator experience in a production environment
  • Sound mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose, fault-find, and adjust machines
  • Able to identify processes that maximise efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  • Thorough understanding of safety and quality compliance requirements in a FMCG manufacturing workplace
  • Availability for shift flexibility
  • Sound computer skills
  • Proven people and communication skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • High level of physical fitness
  • Current driver license
