What's the job?

Reporting to Courtney Lund, Associate Director Campus Operations and Property, the Property & Facilities Manager will oversee all leases and facilities in the Torrens portfolio. You will be joining an award winning team (have won project awards in Australia & NZ). You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all new facilities, and administering the lease and costs associated. The Property & Facilities manager will also be responsible for managing contracts, relationships, and working with third party vendors.

Day-to-day accountabilities:
- Build relationships with Torrens Global Education (TGE) staff and preferred suppliers- Report delivery issues to Director Property & Facilities - TGE- Manage administration of leases- Manage rental costs and outgoings reconciliations- Prepare and process all rental invoices- Manage any sublessees including relationships and invoicing- Manage and prepare budget and reporting of expenditure- Support the Construction manager with projects through reviewing construction contracts and designs.

This is a permanent role and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Who you are

To be successful in this position you will have:
- Experience managing external contracts- Leasing experience- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Strong stakeholder management skills- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, business management or related field preferred- Certification in facilities management a plus.- Previous experience in maintenance supervision or related field-
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 10-15kg
