PADDY THE BAKER (Miranda Bakery Pty Ltd) specialises in traditional Irish breads, gluten free breads and a range of pizza bases with an emphasis on healthy, quality products.

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our team. This is a great opportunity for employment within a busy and well-established bakery.

The position is part time or full-time role.

Your Responsibilities will include but not limited to supporting our bakers in the following roles:
Mixing, preparing and baking breads

Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment to make baked goods.

Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough

Baking different bread types

Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards

Monitoring oven temperature and product appearance to determined baking times

Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls

Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines for all products and working practices, including adhering to cleaning procedures

Maintaining food at the correct temperatures, correct storage of goods, safe operation of equipment

Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance.

**We are seeking someone with**
- **Has an understanding of hygiene and working with food in a busy kitchen environment**:

- **At least three years relevant work experience**:

- **Experience in meeting daily production requirements**

The successful applicant will be required to work 2 -3 days a week from 10am to 6pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
