We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand/Steward to join our busy team at West HQ.What does a Kitchen Hand do?
Our Kitchen Hands are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen and related areas in a safe and efficient manner.Duties could include:Washing kitchen equipment and dishesMaintaining a constant supply of clean materialsEnsuring all kitchen areas are clean and hygienically maintained.
Including mopping of floors and removing garbageCleaning of wash-up areasEnsuring that kitchen cleanliness is of the highest standardComplying with safety work procedures (PPE) & WHS regulationsEnsuring safe manual handling techniques at all timesWho's right for the job?
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand/Steward who is available to work a variety of shifts which include over night shifts, late finishes and early starts.
Applicants who have full availability to work will be well regarded.
Someone who is able to cope with the duties of the role which will require you to repeatedly lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and stand for extended periods of time.What do you need to be considered?
