We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Housekeeping Team Leader to join our internal Housekeeping Leadership team at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport.

Located in the heart of Mascot suburban, the hotel is near completion of all 252 rooms renovation, the modern rooms are designed to make our guests smile. From the comfortable beds, 55 inch TVs, Nespresso Pod machines, free Wi-Fi and soundproof windows with black out blinds, our rooms are designed to make our guests forget the outside world, and enjoy their time with us.

**Your day to day**
You will provide day-to-day support and supervision of our Housekeeping Operation to ensure the team have the tools, resources and feedback needed to achieve our IHG Way of Clean standards, together with maintaining the very highest presentation of our guest rooms and public spaces.

You will also need to assist in preparing weekly staffing schedules, organise and allocate rooms for the rostered team members on shift, new colleague on-boarding & training and maintaining an accurate inventory of all stocks, guest supplies and linens.

This role is great opportunity to develop your Leadership skills and progress further within Housekeeping Management.

**What we need from you**
- Ideally 1-2 years experience in Housekeeping in a full service hotel would be required and previous experience in hotel housekeeping at a team leader level is advantageous
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team
- Committed to delivering exceptional level of Guest Service
- Proficiency, preferred, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work full time in Australia
