Overview Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team.
You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5 experiences for our guests.About UsSet on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England.
The Castle has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past.
Located 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, it offers 26 bedchambers and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life.

Responsibilities £12.42 per hour Part time permanent position - 22 hours per week: 10:30am start to 2:30pm.
5 days a week, including weekends and holidays May include one evening turndown shift per week Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and refreshing linen and towels Cleaning and tidying our public areas ready for the guests Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collaterals Engaging with guests where required Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping manager Cleaning rooms can be physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team An additional share of service charge and tips every month 28-days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata) An additional paid day off on your birthday Complimentary stay at the castle after 3 months passed probation period Training programs via internal & external professionals and access to online training facilities Staff and Family rates on hotel accommodation and discounts on food and beverage Recognition programs Access to online training facilities Career development programs Uniform provided and free parking available CVs can also be sent directly to
