Join our team as a 2IC at Busy Bees at Woolloongabba, where you'll be part of a dynamic service offering 169 places. Our centre boasts spacious open-plan rooms, a unique interactive children's kitchen, and beautifully designed outdoor play areas, tailored to each age group.
Located in the heart of the inner Brisbane suburb of Woolloongabba, we're conveniently positioned on Logan Road with undercover parking off Taylor Street. We're just minutes away from Buranda State School and Buranda train station, making it a convenient location for both staff and families.
Our service is looking for a dynamic, confident leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team as a Assistant Service Manager. Someone who strives to excel and leads by example, setting high industry standards for their team.

- A chance to connect with and build a support network with leaders in the Early Childhood Industry across the nationEssential Qualifications- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as recognized by ACECQA.-
- A current and valid Blue card.-
- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.Skills and Attributes- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to assist in ensuring quality practices and outcomes.-
- Ability to support, mentor and lead a team of educators in the absence of the Service Manager.-
- Capability to assist in managing daily operations, from staffing to parent communications.-
- Ability to effectively address and resolve issues that may arise within the service.-
- Experience in a Service 2IC, Assistant Director, Assistant Service Manager or similar role within an early childhood setting.-
- Proficiency in using relevant management software and tools for communication, documentation and reporting.-
