Your Role:

As the Assistant Director /Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure the implementation of high-quality educational programs that reflect the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework. You will provide leadership to our team of educators, encouraging professional development and maintaining a culture of collaboration and respect.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of educators to deliver engaging, inclusive, and challenging programs for all children in our care.
• Assisting the Centre Manager with daily tasks and responsibilities
• Supporting parent inquiries and conducting tours
• Supporting the development, implementation, and review of educational programs based on the EYLF and NQF requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and the community.
• Overseeing the planning, assessment, and evaluation of children's learning outcomes.
• Contributing to the development of a reflective and inclusive team culture that adheres to ACECQA's regulations.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and center policies.
• Promoting and modelling best practice in early childhood education.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and working in partnership with the Centre Manager to support continuous improvement in line with NQS and ACECQA's guidelines.

About You:

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled assistant director educational leader who can demonstrate:

• A minimum of a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Someone with full availability to work 5 days a week.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Director.
• Strong understanding of ACECQA's regulatory requirements, the National Quality Framework, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, and families.
• A passion for mentoring and supporting a team of educators to reach their full potential.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously while being a team player.
• A commitment to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both children and staff.
