Treetops Early Learning Centres are proudly South Australian owned and operated. We are seeking an experienced, committed, enthusiastic, dynamic, and hardworking Assistant Director - 2IC to work together with the Centre Director.

To be successful in this role you must have a thorough knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and licensing requirements and regulations.

In addition to a genuine passion for children's learning and development, the applicant must possess a strong work ethic, demonstrating leadership ability, flexibility in their working hours, being punctual and reliable, and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Assisting the Director in promoting the centre, attracting and welcoming new families to maximise occupancy levels.
- Being responsible and accountable to management for assisting the day to day operations of the centre including rostering, staff management, enrolments, attendances, and departmental requirements.
- Delivering the highest National Quality Standards ensuring legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
- Assisting in the administration, business, marketing, and the financial management of the centre - possess the skills to provide reports and updates on the centre performance.
- Develop positive relationships with families; supporting inclusion and participation.
- Co-construct and manage the curriculum; collaborate with educators to develop and implement programs.
- Assist in leading and developing an engaged and passionate staff team.
- Participate in the development and implement policy and procedures.
- Ability to develop long-lasting relationships with parents, children, and the local community while ensuring that the centre is providing the highest calibre of care.
- Supporting the development of staff including workplace training and assessment.
- Assist in facilitating the success of the Quality Improvement Plan and Assessment and Rating system.

Essential criteria:

- Previous experience as an Assistant Director - 2IC.
- Hold a relevant Diploma or Bachelor qualification approved by ACECQA. (and all other relevant certificates)
- Management/business skills/experience (e.g. budgets, accreditations, regulations, staffing).
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Exceptional professional and ethical standards.
- A caring person with a friendly, bright personality.
- Highly developed keyboard, computer, and software package skills (will be using Xplor).
- Poses a high level of initiative, self-motivated and problem-solving skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
