**Operations, Setup & Back of House Crew - Weddings & Events**

**About Us**:

- Refresh Hospitality is a boutique, full-service event agency looking forward to getting back to events Our team of 15 staff (and 1 puppy) typically manage 250 events each year between our four event venues & external catering jobs.
- Weddings are our bread & butter, and our team is incredibly customer-focused, aiming to provide an exceptional level of service at every event.

**About the Job**:

- As a member of our event operations team, you will be involved in the "behind the scenes" work setting up and packing down for each of events.

**Before each event, this will include**:

- Moving furniture & setting up tables, chairs & linen.
- Setting tables with crockery, cutlery & glassware.
- Restocking the bar & fridges with beverages & alcohol.
- General tidying & cleaning duties.

**During & after each event, it will include**:

- Assisting the kitchen team in plating during food service.
- Washing glassware, crockery & cutlery in a commercial dishwasher.
- Moving & resetting tables, chairs, furniture & equipment.

**The role will be based around events, so much of the work will be on**:

- Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday - with some day shifts and some evening shifts with later finishes.
- The role will be based at our event venue in North Melbourne.
- The role is either casual or part-time, with 15-30 hours per week.
- We are looking for someone with a get-the-job done attitude, who is happy to jump in where needed, and doesn't mind working late or early hours.

**About You**:
**You must meet these requirements**:

- Fast & efficient worker.
- Available to work flexible hours as required by the role, including weekends & late hours, or early hours.
- Comfortable lifting heavy items.
- Friendly demeanor & positive attitude.
- Able to commit for minimum 6 months & looking for long term employment.

**Preferred but not required**:

- Drivers license & comfortable driving a large van.
- Experience in events or in kitchens.
