**About our SQW programs**

Our **20-week full time paid traineeship in Conservation and ecosystem management** will provide you the opportunity to undertake real work experience to help you transition into a conservation career while you gain a cert 1 accreditation in the conservation industry all led by a qualified industry professional.

You will get to work alongside a not-for-profit community run Landcare group and receive training:

- Current ecological restoration practices
- Indigenous native flora and fauna, local vegetation types, plant evolution and plant culture information
- Fauna and spotter training
- Snake awareness training
- First Aid & CPR Training
- White card Training
- ACDC tickets offered only to high performers.
- Assistance in breaking into the industry including networking opportunities.

Work in a supported and safe team environment. Gain employability skills and tailored support with a focus on physical and mental health.

Partnering with Ballistic Training Solutions RTO: 41097 gain an accredited qualification AHC10120 - Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management. Full PPE provided.

14 Positions Available **Start date: Aug/Sep 2025**
Project based at: Toovey St, Caboolture

**Eligibility Criteria**
- Min. 15 years old and no longer enrolled at school
- Australian/NZ citizen and QLD resident (or on pathway to permanent residency)
- Job seekers ineligible for Govt. services such as Job Active OR who have accessed services for 6 months and remain unemployed
- Not participated in a previous SQW program
- Ability to work outdoors and get to/from work Mon-Fri essential

- Mature aged job seekers aged 45 years and over
- Young people (15 -24 years)
