This unique traineeship opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about gardening and the environment but need help finding employment. Throughout this 20-week full-time paid program, you will gain a cert I accreditation in conservation while working with a not-for-profit community-run Landcare group.

You will receive comprehensive training in ecological restoration practices, including indigenous native flora and fauna, local vegetation types, plant evolution, and plant culture information. You will also gain skills in fauna spotting, first aid & CPR training, white card training, and ACDC tickets for high performers.

In addition to your technical training, you will receive support in employability skills, physical and mental health, and assistance in breaking into the industry through networking opportunities.

Our program is open to Australian and New Zealand citizens or residents who meet the eligibility criteria, including being job seekers ineligible for government services and able to work outdoors and commute to/from work on weekdays.
