Conservation and Ecosystem Management Traineeship

Gain hands-on experience in conservation and ecosystem management with our 20-week paid traineeship.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, learn from industry professionals, and gain an accredited qualification in conservation and ecosystem management.

  • Work alongside a not-for-profit community-run Landcare group
  • Gain training in ecological restoration practices, fauna and spotter training, snake awareness, first aid, and CPR
  • Develop employability skills and tailored support
  • Partnering with Ballistic Training Solutions, gain an accredited qualification AHC10120 - Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 15 years old and no longer enrolled at school
  • Australian/NZ citizen and QLD resident (or on pathway to permanent residency)
  • Job seekers ineligible for Govt. services or have accessed services for 6 months and remain unemployed
  • Not participated in a previous SQW program
  • Ability to work outdoors and get to/from work Mon-Fri essential
