**Maintenance Fitter**
- Permanent opportunity - Long term stable employment

**The Company**

Our client is the first onshore company to offer mixed battery recycling in Australia. Launched in 2017, they have developed safe and innovative management solutions for one of the Australian waste industry's biggest challenges. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their day shift team, primarily based in Campbellfield. Occasional travel to their Laverton site may also be required. If you would like to contribute to a greener future by getting involved right from the start of the lithium battery recycling industry in Australia, this could be the role you are looking for.

**The position requirements include, but are not limited to**:

- Troubleshooting, preventative & breakdown maintenance tasks
- Capital project works, fabrication tasks & identifying opportunities for improvement
- Strictly following all required safety procedures

**To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following**:

- A trade qualification as a Fitter
- Proven experience in an FMCG / high speed manufacturing environment
- A current forklift licence & electrical D licence - advantageous
- A solid understanding of 5S manufacturing principles
- A team player mentality with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a high attention to detail
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

**Hours & rates**

Day shift hours, 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday, $50 per hour + super + occasional overtime
