Maintenance Fitters
We are currently recruiting Maintenance Fitters. They are looking for Maintenance Fitter to fill roles currently within their production plant. These positions are primarily responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance to plant machinery and equipment in line with company & WHS standards, while ensuring mínimal interruptions to plant operations and systems.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Qualified Maintenance Fitter with Certification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Show initiative and make decisions under pressure
- Maintain high standards of work and behaviour
- Commitment to ensuring a safe work environment and active promotion of safe working practices on the job
- Ability to analyse and prioritise maintenance response times
- Previous knowledge of maintaining machinery an advantage but not essential
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to be decisive
- Possibility for weekend shifts also
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual
**Salary**: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Supplementary Pay:
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Campbellfield, VIC 3061: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
