**The Role**:
**Where you fit in**

The Prelude FLNG facility is stationed northeast of Broome, Western Australia, in Australian Commonwealth waters. The Prelude FLNG operation comprises sub-sea wells tied back to an FLNG facility encompassing gas processing and liquefaction through to LNG/LPG/Condensate storage and offloading, along with the requisite supporting marine and utilities facilities.

**What's the role?**

The Prelude Maintenance Team Leader (Offshore) leads, coaches, and mentors a multi discipline maintenance team to drive a safe, reliable, and efficient Prelude performance through executing the activities in the Integrated Schedule and building a culture of care, respect and belonging.

Your accountabilities include:

- Ensuring that Maintenance Execution, Permit to Work and Safe Isolation processes are followed and audited so that day to day tasks and activities of the maintenance team are managed and executed with consistency and with focus on process safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain full compliance for your own and your team competence assurance and development requirements.
- Assigning work to the technician work force in an optimised manner to meet (or exceed) the agreed schedule for the week.
- Collaborating with the other Maintenance Team Leaders and the Area Team Leaders to ensure operations support activities are delivered as expected.
- Ensuring that the work is executed following HSE rules and practices.
- Ensuring work is executed to required quality, as efficiently as possible by aiming to reduce non-productive time.
- Monitoring the progress of work, taking appropriate risk-based decision making and actions as necessary to accelerate work by bringing in fill in work.
- Communicating status of work to the Scheduler and other interested parties in the Asset.
- Planning work that skips the planning phase, i.e., emergency and schedule breaker/urgent priority work as approved by the Area Specialist.
- Ensuring feedback on the work / work pack is provided by technicians and relayed to the planners for continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely confirmation and close out of completed work, with actual hours spent and other relevant work information/history included (as-found/as-left data, findings, check sheets etc.).
- Ensure permit verification activities are caried out as required including the identification of HSSE risk and controls for the tasks specified.
- Demonstrate a deep strong commitment to the Shell values, code of conduct and Safety Leadership requirements.

**What we need from you**
- Experience in supervising people in a Major Hazard Facility environment to ensure safe and consistent maintenance delivery is essential.
- Demonstrated core commitment to safety, with effective asset integrity and process safety management held as a core belief.
- Active team player, participating in the attainment of team goals, coaching, and mentoring continuous improvement.
- Ability to seek, integrate and implement advice from outside their direct sphere of knowledge (for example from Engineering, HSSE or Marine specialists) is critical to the success of the role.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a proven ability to engage with a broad spectrum of people. Able to respectfully challenge outcomes and views that do not meet the HSSE, production efficiency, availability, or integrity criteria, or may potentially delay product delivery.
- Familiarity with the Asset Management System (AMS) Perform Maintenance Execution, Permit to Work, Safe Isolation and Ensure Safe Production Standards and Manuals and the Maritime Process Model would be highly regarded.
- Experience with the use of CMMS systems
- Expected to form part of the Emergency Response Team as a Command Team member.
