Our client, a global leader specialising in the design and production of bar code readers, mobile computers and sensors are looking for a Repair Technician to service their products in the field and on site to meet the obligations to their commercial clients.

Our client, a global leader specialising in the design and production of bar code readers, mobile computers and sensors are looking for a Repair Technician to service their products in the field and on site to meet the obligations to their commercial clients.

**Core Responsibilities include**:

- Carry out repairs on Automation scanning products, in-house at bench level to meet established KPI's.
- Meet set Service obligations as promised to customer.
- Send repairs to 3rd parties where required.
- Stay trained and up-to date on existing & new products released.
- Provide repair related reports as requested by management.
- Have adequate knowledge of Service Admin role to cover for Service Admin in their absence.
- Provide quotations to customers for non-warranty repairs.
- Follow up on outstanding quotes awaiting customer response.
- Escalate observed product issues to Application Engineers for further escalation to the Quality Group.

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- Electrical/Electronics/Communications Trade Certificate or Diploma
- Ideally 5 years' experience in similar role
- SAP experience preferred but can be trained.
- Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred but can be trained.
- Conversant with Microsoft office suite(word, excel, power point)
- Self -starter who can work by objective and well manage the workload identifying the right priorities.
- Good time management skills
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Team worker.
- Detail oriented, analytical, methodical, organized, efficient and effective.
- Professional attitude for work, high level of accuracy.
