This esteemed organisation is offering a rare opening for a Manufacturing Manager to join and run their progressive and forward-looking team in Yennora, NSW. With over 135 years of Australian Manufacturing experience, our client has a workforce of up to 900 employees located in several regions across Australia and beyond. As pioneers and leaders in the fields of defence, aerospace, government, and marine, they are poised for continuous expansion in the upcoming years.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all operations at the Yennora site, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and excellence throughout the manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in driving the team forward, actively contributing to the growth strategy, helping achieve new milestones, and propelling the organisation to new heights.

- Experience in production and manufacturing management, with a proven track record of optimising processes, implementing LEAN manufacturing best practices, and effectively managing operations.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality standards, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of excellence.
- A solutions-focused mindset, demonstrating the ability to identify and resolve complex problems, while consistently seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to think on your feet and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, embracing the energy that comes with it.
- Hands-on experience providing practical advice and guidance to teams, preferably with a trade background.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Previous practical experience within the vehicle manufacturing industry or a related field will be highly regarded but is not essential.
