**About the role**

The **Manufacturing Manager**is a **Full-Time**position, based at **Wetherill Park, NSW**. Reporting to **Operations Manager**you will be responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing process; plans and manages details of production activities in terms of output, quality, quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements.

In this role, you will:

- Lead and manage the manufacturing team (24/hr x 7 days a week operation).
- Drive a Zero Harm Environment by championing a Never Walk Past Culture across site.
- Lead, participate and collaborate with the WCM team to implement World Class Manufacturing on site and into our day-to-day activities.
- Demonstrate constructive leadership, building a team of accountable people who can deliver the business goals, whilst role modelling the CSR behaviours.
- Maintains strong relations with trade unions to support a positive industrial relations environment. Participate, lead and implement site enterprise agreements.
- Responsibilities include but not limited strategic planning, overall cost management, operating structure, and capacity.
- Oversee all maintenance activities across site to ensure alignment with production schedules and organisational objectives.

**What you bring to the role**
- A strong commitment to safety awareness
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Degree or experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership & motivational experience & knowledge (people person)
- Knowledge & Production experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement program
- Problem solving ability with attention to detail.
