We are a certified and registered NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) disability support provider.

About the role.

We are currently in need of a multiple Support workers to join our team. Services are currently provided around the South West Sydney Area. Providing primarily social interaction, supporting clients when out in the community, providing personal care when needed as well as some domestic duties. Preference is for a Non-Smoking support worker. Both Male and Female workers required.

Our clients are looking for a switched on, enthusiastic communicator, reliable worker that has a good sense of humour. Our clients enjoy conversing in a variety of topics and have a variety of interests.

Experience in assisting clients with Acquired Brain injuries will be highly regarded.

Regular shifts will be available and these may include Days (inc weekends), Evenings and overnights. The shifts can vary in duration from 1 hour upwards. Overnights are usually a set 8-9 hour shift)

As a Support worker you are expected to:

- Provide professional, friendly and caring support.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Communicate effectively.
- Manage the tasks within the allocated time.
- Be switched on.

The responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:

- Personal care
- Assistance with showering, dressing, toileting.
- Domestic assistance
- Domestic cleaning, meal preparation.
- Some gardening
- Social support
- shopping, assisting clients with their individual interests.
- Transport;
- Medication.
- Accompanying clients to appointments.
- Using applicable mobility devices such as lifters, wheelchairs, commodes etc.

Requirements for the role:

- Certificate III or above in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain one (own expense)
- Drivers Licence.
- Experience in transporting clients in wheelchairs.
- Hoisting.

Immediate start.

**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $40.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Fixed shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Public holidays

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- NDIS Worker Clearance or willing to get one (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Min Cert III in Individual Support or Equivalent (required)
