Job Overview
We are seeking a well-established technical leader to join our team in Victoria. As Technical Director or Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical and commercial outcomes on local and national power projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead transformative projects shaping the Victorian electricity transmission system.
Project & design management and leadership involve overseeing engineering reports, documentation, and drawing packages.
Substation design, including QA of substation design and engineering, with oversight of design teams.
Prepare proposals and bids for projects, establishing relationships with clients and driving business development.
Train and develop team members, collaborating with colleagues nationally and globally to manage project resourcing and delivery.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (RPEV required) is necessary for this role.
10+ years of industry experience, preferably in consulting environments or power utilities, demonstrate professional judgement and commercial acumen.
Good understanding of energy industry mechanics and National Electricity Market requirements.
Experience building and managing high-performing teams is essential.
Understanding of Australian Standards relating to HV substation design and primary plant technologies.
