Job Summary

A dynamic Project Leader is required to oversee industrial and hazardous area electrical projects from inception to completion. This role involves hands-on management while mentoring a team.

We deliver innovative electrical solutions across manufacturing, utilities, and renewables, valuing professionalism, innovation, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the project lifecycle – tendering, design, procurement, delivery, and handover.
  • Prepare bids, quotations, and project offers with the sales and design teams.
  • Manage project finances, schedules, risks, and compliance, reporting to the management team.
  • Coordinate electrical designs, quality assurance, and provide technical support to the team.
  • Lead site labor management, subcontractors, and contractors for timely project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to safety processes, including risk assessments and SWMS.
  • Utilize job management software such as Simpro and Microsoft Office.
  • Submit monthly progress claims and variation quotations.
  • Mentor electrical workers and support their professional growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing hazardous area projects, including dossier management, rectification, design/selection, and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of LV switchboards, distribution boards, panel boards, control panels, and MCCs.
  • Familiarity with AS61439 Switchboard design and working knowledge of AS/NZS3000, AS/NZS61439, AS:60079.
  • Electrical trade background preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in electrical project management roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with clients, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on mindset with strong organizational skills and commitment to safety, quality, and profitability.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
