**The Opportunity**:
Based primarily at our V&V Walsh facility in Bunbury, which processes both beef and lamb products and providing support to our southern pig farms, this full-time position will be key to enabling environmental compliance through effective risk management, monitoring and reporting. You'll work closely with the on-site teams on site to help identify opportunities to effectively reduce our emissions, waste and water use. As there is some travel required, a tool of trade vehicle will be provided.

**You'll get to showcase your skills and knowledge in**:

- Environmental monitoring, reporting and risk management
- Waste water and effluent management
- Review and continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Building relationships with key stakeholders to deliver improved outcomes

**The successful applicant will possess**:

- Degree in environmental science or related field
- At least 2 years' experience in an environmental management or compliance role
- Knowledge of environmental legislation, operating licences, monitoring programs, standards in relation to water, land use, contamination and waste disposal
- Ability to identify and effectively manage environmental risks
- Ability to plan and organise priorities to meet deadlines for multiple deliverables
- Experience in manufacturing would be highly regarded
