We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who share our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business.About the opportunityWestgold Resources is currently sourcing proactive, safety-conscious Core Yard Technicians to join on a permanent 8 days on, 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth.
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, the Core Yard Technician will be responsible for performing core yard duties to facilitate the safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction and growth of the mineral resource.We currently have multiple opportunities across our Northern and Southern Operations.The role includesProcessing diamond drill core through the site's core yard, ensuring minimal backlogGrab sampling from surface and underground stockpilesPreparing sites for geological mapping by washing down, paint markups, and measurement markupsWorking closely with Mine Geologists and conducting quality control on face sample collection, documentation, and delivery of samples to labsUndertaking daily workplace inspectionsData entry into Microsoft software with attention to quality controlWhat do I need?
