As our Functions Manager at our Richmond location, you'll step into a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring the triumph of our functions and events. This exciting opportunity will commence in June.
**Your key responsibilities will encompass**:
- Crafting and implementing strategic promotional and marketing initiatives.
- Achieving financial targets for functions and events.
- Cultivating strong partnerships with corporate clients, community groups, and local sports clubs.
- Orchestrating networking events to showcase our premier function spaces.
- Collaborating with local businesses and event firms to enrich community engagement.
- Seamlessly managing bookings and maintaining a robust online presence.
- Presenting function spaces to prospective clients with finesse and professionalism.
- Planning and executing major internal and external events.
- Conducting budgeting and reporting to ensure financial success.
**What we're seeking**:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Functions and Events within a hospitality setting.
- While an Events qualification is desirable, it's not mandatory.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable time management and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for the industry and a strong sales-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in managing the financial aspects of events.
- RSA certificate.
