- Jewish Care Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation, is the largest provider of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria. Services include Aged Residential Care, Assessment Referral and Individual Support Services, Community Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, Youth and Family Services and Holocaust Survivors Programs.**About the role**
- The Clinical Governance Manager role will play a significant part in ensuring high quality care and support is delivered to all clients and families within Disability & Social Services across Jewish Care.Ensuring understanding, relevance and adherence to all relevant industry standards, legislative/statutory requirements, and regulations.
- The implementation and adoption of organisational policies and procedures.
- Monitoring of staff practice to ensure practice is in line with agreed organisational standards
- Supporting the implementation of outcome measurements.
- Develop capacity and capability for analysis and reporting of client outcomes to inform continuous improvement and service development.
- Developing improvements that will enhance the experience and impact of the services and supports provided to individuals and/or families.
**Key Responsibilities**
- The purpose of the role is to collaborate and partner with Jewish Care leaders to support the delivery of the Clinical Governance Framework across all services in the organisation and to progress the work of the Directorate by ensuring:
- Actively participate in quality activities to improve services delivered to the Disability and Social Services divisions.
- Maintains quality systems across all areas of the Disability and Social Services Directorate to a high standard on an ongoing basis and ensures that monthly data analysis and reports are completed in a timely manner each month.
- Monitor audit schedules to identify gaps or issues and address to improve outcomes.
- Ensure that community services and supports meet or exceed industry standards.
- Promote and support a culture of improvement in all services within the organisation and specifically Disability and Social Services.
- Ensure that staff and client/family surveys are conducted according to agreed time frames to enable monitoring of consumer experience.
- Provide the necessary education, training, coaching and support to enable utilisation of clinical governance systems across the organisation.
- Participate in designated Clinical Governance Portfolio activities as determined by the Director Clinical Governance, Risk and Experience.
**About you**
- A min of 3 years experience in a senior management role within the Disablilty and/or Community Services.
- Proven experience in delivering quality outcomes on time and to a high-quality standard.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering quality reports including analysis of data.
- Demonstrated experience in building staff capability through the development and delivery of training programs or clinical forums.
- Demonstrated project management and implementation experience with proven ability to creatively problem solve and think strategically.
- Demonstrated experience to work effectively with mínimal supervision, self-manage and contribute constructively to a small high performing team.
- An ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, and manage competing priorities.
**Essential**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Disability and/or Human Services.
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS, Human Services Standards and Child Safe Standards.
- Understanding of Disability and Community Services sectors.
- Knowledge of clinical governance systems.
**Desirable**
- Understanding of the Jewish culture and community, or willingness to develop understanding.
