**About Us**
The G'day Group is one of Australia's leading and fastest growing tourism companies. With 300+ properties, and a portfolio that spans from holiday parks to some of Australia's most iconic and internationally renowned properties, we are the largest regional accommodation group in Australia.
The business has an enviable portfolio of brands, including 85+ owned and operated parks and resorts (Discovery Parks), 220+ licensed independent parks (G'Day Parks), one of the 'Luxury Lodges of Australia' in El Questro and 185,000+ Rewards Program customers (G'day Rewards).
More than a tourism company, we are also a major property investor and developer. In the coming financial year will invest $130M in new properties and $130M in developing existing properties and have an ambitious plan to double the size of the Group in the next five years through continued scale and diversification.
Our marketing team is expanding in line with this growth plan. We recently appointed a new CMO and are currently recruiting several positions to increase capability across digital experience, CRM, local area marketing, data and insights. Through this growth, we remain focussed on our promise to provide authentic holiday experiences that connect our customers with the best of Australia.
This is an opportunity to be part of leading one of Australia's biggest and most progressive tourism marketing teams with benefits that include flexible working arrangements, wellbeing initiatives and a fantastic workplace culture.
**Say g'day to your next role**
The Social Media Specialist is a critical part of the marketing team, driving the creation and execution of a social content framework that expands our presence by growing and nurturing an engaged and active community.
You will be at the core of the establishment and execution of the brand's social media, collaborating with the broader marketing and digital teams to execute a content strategy to increase audience reach and engagement and brand growth. As the voice of the brand, bringing our people and properties to life through storytelling that resonates and drives conversion will be your daily bread and butter.
You'll own the social media content calendar including ideation and development of content, as well as critical reporting and planning with key marketing team members.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Establish processes to streamline and scale our social media work, ensuring optimal scheduling and underpinned by the content calendar
- Schedule always-on plus campaign response content for a variety of social platforms
- Deliver campaign activity planning, delivery and reporting
- Contribute to the support and collaboration with external agencies for development of content and marketing campaign collateral
**Your Experience**
You're a social media guru with your finger on the pulse when it comes to the ever-changing social media landscape. Social media is your second language - maybe even your first - and you know what good looks like and how to achieve it.
With experience in a corporate environment, you know how to harness the power of internal and external partners to influence audiences and drive business outcomes. You'll be commercially astute and able to weave strategy seamlessly into your creative and conceptual ideation. While highly creative, you'll also excel at planning and scheduling to amplify messaging across multiple channels.
You're hungry for a crucial marketing role in an agile, high growth business, and you're comfortable working at pace and across multiple brands. You're a great communicator with integrity and passion, able to quickly build strong relationships internally and externally. Your experience is backed by tertiary qualifications and a commitment to professional development, keeping your skills cutting-edge.
All in all, you're energetic and self-starting, able to grab market opportunities as they present and operate with the curiosity and initiative to always asks 'how can we do this better?' Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values, and your highly organised detail-driven mindset will give you strong foundation for success.
And if you love travel, that won't hurt either
