**Deliverables**:

- Develop and manage relevant stakeholder relationships through ongoing communication (both structured and informal) to identify opportunities for the business to effectively participate in host communities.
- Develop and implement strategies that: map key stakeholders; identify community development needs and priorities; define acceptance drivers; and include a program of planned and purposeful engagement.
- Anticipate and plan for emerging issues and act to manage / remedy any social licence risk exposures.
- Support and advise internal stakeholders on emerging issues as they relate to stakeholder interests.
- Develop and implement strategic community investment initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to make the business more transparent within host communities and support community acceptance of new operations.

**Your skills and experience**
- Ten years of experience in public affairs, communication or community engagement roles.
- Exceptional writing skills with a demonstrated ability to write for different audiences and media.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in developing and implementing external communication and stakeholder engagement plans, including media relations, issue management and community relations.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with a proven ability to understand a wide range of topics, identify issues and provide appropriate communication and engagement solutions
