Each café is locally owned and operated, meaning our franchise owners are emotionally invested in making the business work.
At our cafes and drive thru cafes, you will find unique menus featuring Stellarossa core dishes and local favourites.About The RoleAs an Experienced Barista at Stellarossa Parkside Cafe, you will be busy pumping out coffees and preparing cold drinks for dine-in and takeaway, while interacting with guests, taking their orders, and supporting your fellow team members.
This is a casual position with lots of hours on offer, including weekend work, which is a must.Responsibilities For Baristas & Guest Service Team MembersPrepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Train and mentor junior baristas.Dial in grinders to Stellarossa espresso recipe.Interact with guests, taking their orders, answering their questions, and providing exceptional service all-round.Assist with opening and closing duties.Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere.Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.Deliver food and beverages to guests at their tables or to guests for them to take home.RequirementsStrong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment, or kitchen operations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.Availability to work weekends is essential.A charismatic, engaging, bright, and bubbly personality.High energy and productivity levels.Openness to learning and following systems.BenefitsEnjoy the Restaurant Industry Award casual hourly rate plus Super.Opportunities for incentives and staff discounts.Opportunities to progress within the company.A culture of support including upskilling.How to apply: Click on the Apply Now button to apply through Zapid Hire.
