About the role

We are seeking friendly and passionate Cafe/Bakery Assistants to join our team at The Rustic Crumb Bakery, Mackay . We currently have multiple positions available for experienced Cafe/Bakery attendants. These roles will see you playing a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and delicious food and drinks in our Brand New cafe. If you have a love for delivering Hot fresh coffee with an interest in Bakery and a commitment to providing the best possible experience for our customers, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea and milkshakes
  • Preparing and serving a range of freshly made items, such as sandwiches, salads and snacks
  • Providing outstanding customer service, ensuring all customers receive a friendly and efficient experience
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the cafe area
  • Assisting with stock control and cafe operations as required
  • Working as part of a team to contribute to the overall success of the supermarket

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience working in a cafe, bakery, restaurant or similar hospitality setting
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for making customers feel welcome
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • A positive, friendly and reliable attitude
