**Ovolo Woolloomooloo** is the brand's flagship Australian hotel, located in Sydney's idyllic harbourside suburb of... (dramatic drum roll) Woolloomooloo. Nestled in the heart of the popular wharf precinct, a short walk to the city's central business district, the hotel is surrounded by a wide selection of much-loved dining and nightlife options. Ovolo Woolloomooloo features 100 guest rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, meeting rooms and events spaces, a swimming pool, and Bar Woolloomooloo.
**The Gig**
As our newest **Wedding & Social Sales Manager**, you will focus primarily on making our clients dream weddings come true with our amazing venue and destination. You will work closely with the Director of Events to bring Ovolo's vision to life every day with your effervescent personality, and your effortless ways of doing things. This is a **Full-Time** role and will require flexibility in availability. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate and develop all wedding sales activities including quoting, site inspections, contracting, invoicing and client liaison through to the execution of the event
- Drive wedding sales by efficiently and effortlessly managing leads received
- Coordinate site inspections, media site visits and PR enquiries
- Liaise with entire hotel operations team
- F&B, Kitchen, Front Office & Reservations
- Manage sales database and ensure client profiles are kept up to date
- Attend to operational meetings
- Maximize revenue opportunities by upselling
- Respond to all client enquiries
**About you**
At Ovolo, we are all about YOU. We provide a fun and exciting environment and all we ask is that you give us your dedication to our brand and most importantly, your team You will ideally have 3+ years' experience in events & sales, preferably with a focus on weddings. You will hold a tertiary qualification in event or hospitality management. You will bring excellent communications skills through your positive attitude and passion to succeed. Great interpersonal skills will be a highlight quality of yours, along with great multi-tasking and time management skills, and love for working in dynamic, busy environments.
