Digital Design Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Design Specialist to join our team. As a Digital Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive digital learning experiences. Your primary focus will be on designing user-centred eLearning courses, utilizing your knowledge of UX and UI design principles, Adobe Suite, and Articulate Storyline.

Flexible on location, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert L&D advice to the design of innovative and creative blended learning solutions, utilising modern, fit for purpose learning design techniques and methodologies to build the learning culture
- Consult extensively to gather requirements and assess suitability of potential learning solutions
- Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for eLearning courses, ensuring a seamless and engaging learning experience.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively.
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) to design and customize graphics, illustrations, and multimedia elements.
- Develop interactive and multimedia-rich eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline or other eLearning authoring tools.
- Ensure consistency and quality in design across multiple eLearning projects, adhering to branding guidelines and style standards.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience and enhance the effectiveness of eLearning courses.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in eLearning design, UX/UI design, and instructional design methodologies.

**To be successful in the role**:

- You will have strong Instructional Design experience, where you've been developing innovative and creative blended learning end to end solutions which support the professional standards and development needs of employees in a medium to large sized commercially driven organisation
- Good knowledge of UX and UI design principles, as well as Adobe Suite, and Articulate Storyline
- Proven track record in successful delivery to tight timelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills in order to liaise and collaborate with business leaders and SMEs, influence outcomes, and translate intent into learning solutions
- Adaptability, flexibility and preparedness to work with ambiguity, in a dynamic environment responding to emerging risks, project challenges and meet deadlines
