Overview

The Integrated Marketing Communications team at Mastercard is looking for a Digital and Design Marketing Specialist with a technical background to collaborate with B2B, B2C, and Communications teams. You will be responsible for keeping all websites and channels on-brand, uploading compelling digital content and user-centric designs that enhance our brand and improve customer engagement. You will also be responsible for reviewing and approving all design materials to ensure they align with Mastercard's brand guidelines. Your role will involve evaluating design submissions for consistency, quality, and adherence to brand standards.

Role

You will design, build and optimize our website, manage SEO/SEM efforts, and drive digital marketing strategies. Your role will blend technical skills with marketing expertise to improve site performance, user experience, branding and campaign results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Audit: Review and approve design projects, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's brand guidelines. Provide detailed feedback to design teams to achieve high-quality, brand-consistent outcomes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support design initiatives and resolve issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of brand standards and industry best practices.
- Website Development: Build and maintain high-performing, user-friendly websites using CMS platforms and/or custom code. Ensure mobile responsiveness and site optimization.
- SEO & SEM: Conduct technical SEO audits, manage SEM campaigns, and implement strategies to boost site visibility and performance.
- Content Management: Create and update website content, ensuring alignment with marketing goals. Review and approve all assets with Mastercard logo and ensure
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics to track performance, generate reports, and derive actionable insights.
- Technical Support: Provide support for website issues and stay updated with the latest web technologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Web Development, Design or related field.
- Proven experience in digital design and user experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile design principles, including responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with website development (CMS, HTML/CSS) and digital marketing.
- Knowledge of SEO tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication abilities.

Preferred:

- Experience with PHP, JavaScript, or web development frameworks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads).
