About the Client: Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia.
Currently seeking for a talented Agile Project Manager (Scrum Master) to join their busy team for a casual 12 months temporary assignment.
About the Role: As an Agile Project Manager (Scrum Master), you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve internal service delivery processes and systems to provide better experiences for its clients.
In addition, your key duties are as follows: Manage project scope and timeline including forward plan Work in line with the Agile project approach in supporting the design of the feature and for forward view of design dates etc.
Use Project management tool to map out project deliverables and dependencies.
Monitor the team's overall progress within all aspects of the projects/features Assist in planning and allocating resources for the features/projects using consistent branch tools and templates.
Coordinate sprints and retrospective meetings which review the project status and daily scrum stand-ups.
Coach team members in agile and waterfall frameworks and scrum/project practices and guiding teams to higher project maturity.
About You: To be successful in this role, you must have: Proven experience in a similar Project Management role, ideally within the public sector industry Relevant Agile / Scrum Master qualifications Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Benefits: ASAP Start Date pending clearance Casual 12 months Temporary Assignment Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Hybrid working arrangement $602.55 per day + super Multiple locations available: Geelong or Melbourne, VIC Sydney, NSW Brisbane, QLD Adelaide, SA *** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to complete federal police check ** At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
