Your new role: As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will provide person-centred care and support to patients while working under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses.
You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, compassionate, and professional care within the Division of Cancer team.
• Assist Registered Nurses in delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
• Support the daily functioning of the ward, including patient care tasks and unit duties.
• Observe, report, and contribute to patient assessments and care planning.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.About you: You are a compassionate and dedicated team player with a commitment to delivering quality care.
You value respect, accountability, and excellence, and can work effectively under supervision to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Certificate III in a relevant health or nursing field (highly regarded).
• Ability to follow direction and contribute as a supportive member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible and willing to work across a 7-day roster, including public holidays.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on empathy, teamwork, and patient-centred care.
