WSP is seeking an experiencedElectrical Designer to join ourPower & Energy Group.
In this role, you will be seconded full-time in one of our key programs.
What You'll Be Working On
You'll contribute to concept and detailed electrical design drafting across a range of projects, including:
Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs)
Water and wastewater pumping stations
Wastewater Network Renewal
Reservoir Renewal and Improvements
Key Responsibilities
Prepare engineering drawings from sketches, calculations, and specifications
Support the electrical design team in developing project designs
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration
Manage project setup and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Analyse client requirements to ensure all specifications are captured
Apply quality control processes to maintain drawing accuracy and compliance
About You
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or above
Experience in a consulting environment (highly regarded)
Strong drafting and detailing skills
Proficient in AutoCAD (12D experience is a plus)
Experience in transmission secondary design and water infrastructure
Skilled in interpreting engineering designs and producing layouts, schematics, and general arrangements
MicroStation experience is advantageous
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
